this was supposed to be a picture of us &Toby, but the little jerk ran away. this picture is great though. my husband has the greatest smile I’ve ever seen. he has such an energy about him. he’s such a cool person to talk to &be around. I’ve never met someone that’s talked to him, ¬ liked him. he can really light up a room with that smile. I am so lucky to be his wife.

today Anthony &I went to a memorial. it was really sad &a little eye opening. I have always been thankful that my husband came home safe &in one piece, but I think that sometimes I don’t realize how lucky I really am. today I saw some families that weren’t so lucky. I will never take my husband for granted. he is absolutely incredible &I will never go a day without letting him know that. today made me realize that I could have never seen him again &that I should never go a day without being thankful that he’s here. I should always kiss him &tell him how much he means to me.
I really love that man.

I like living here a lot more than I thought I would. waking up to mountains everyday is pretty great.
